About this adventure

The Seneca Valley Cross Country Boosters hold the Turkey Chase 5K at Graham Park in Cranberry Township on Thanksgiving morning. Runners and walkers use a flat, USATF-certified 5K. Awards go to the top three overall men and women and to the top three men and women in age groups that begin at 14 and under. Shirts are guaranteed for people who register by the end of the day on November 9. Children riding in strollers do not have to be registered. Strollers are allowed if the adult is careful of other runners. Skateboards, scooters, skates, and bicycles are not allowed on the course, and animals are not allowed in Graham Park. Chip timing is by Wolf Creek Race Management. The race director is Corrine Satriano. Proceeds support the boosters and Armstrong's Breaking Bread Initiative. The name Armstrong in that program is the beneficiary, not a move to Armstrong County. The start is rain or shine, and the registration text says no refunds or transfers. Packet details beyond the shirt deadline are in the race description.
