About this adventure

The Gratitude Run is a free Thanksgiving-morning 5K on a paved, wooded stretch of the Montour Trail in Venetia, a Peters Township tradition built around helping one local family each year. The community nominates a family in need, and the run rallies support for them while giving runners and walkers of all ages an out-and-back course they can sprint or stroll. Registration costs nothing, which makes it an easy way to bring children along for a first 5K or a family walk before the holiday meal. The run starts at 9 a.m., and the course is open until about 11 a.m.
