About this adventure

Boy Scout Troop 444 puts on a Veterans Salute 5K run and walk in Rochester. The course is described as hilly, with turns, and a map link is named in the registration text. Proceeds go to It's About the Warrior Foundation, which the race says assists post-9/11 veterans and their families in the Tri-State area. Registration and packet pickup start before the 10 a.m. start. The Usual Grind coffee truck, a selfie station, and raffle baskets from Big Knob Grange are part of the morning. Medals go to first place in the age divisions. The early price included a guaranteed shirt. Later prices include a bib and a shirt only if shirts remain. The race is a public 5K organized by the troop, not a den meeting. No separate kids' distance is printed, and the age divisions themselves are not listed in the saved text, so no youth age band is recorded. Families who want a short walk still use the 5K distance. The start address is the race address; a building name is not printed.
