About this adventure

On two December evenings the Dickens Carolers, a singing group dressed in Victorian costume, stroll around McMenamins Grand Lodge in Forest Grove performing familiar holiday songs. Rather than a seated concert, the carolers move about the property for an hour, so families can catch them in passing, follow along from room to room, or stop and listen while they sing. McMenamins lists the evenings as free and welcoming to all ages, which makes it an easy, low-key holiday outing for children who enjoy music, costumes and carols, and a natural add-on to dinner at the lodge. Come any time during the hour and listen for the group; nothing needs to be booked in advance.
