About this adventure

Skamania Lodge in Stevenson opens the Christmas in the Gorge season, which the Skamania County Chamber of Commerce runs from November 25 to December 13, with a short Christmas tree lighting in the lodge's Gorge Room on the evening before Thanksgiving. The lighting runs from 5:30 to 6 pm with live music, and the lodge offers special discounts in its gift shop; wine and beer are available for purchase. Two days later the lodge's free Holiday Light Walk opens on the grounds, a path of lights through tall Douglas firs and the Tree House Village that runs nightly from 5 to 9 pm through January 3. Stevenson's own community tree lighting and Starlight Parade follow on December 4 on the Courthouse Lawn.
