About this adventure

Northwest Children's Theater runs a four-day winter break camp at The Judy, its downtown home, in the week between Christmas and New Year's. Camps are split by age and experience. First Stage camps for ages 4 to 6 use creative play, imaginative adventures, silly songs and movement to build a small show, with families invited to a sharing in the last 15 minutes of the final day. Explore camps for ages 6 to 9 mix role-play and world-building, ending with an informal demonstration. Performance camps for ages 8 to 11 and 10 to 14 audition, rehearse and stage a play or musical in which every camper gets a part, with a final performance for families. Skills camps for ages 10 to 14 focus on one craft such as comedy, musical theater, stage combat or technical theater and design. Morning and afternoon camps can be combined into a full day.
