About this adventure

A waterfront naval museum in Fall River with five National Historic Landmark vessels that families can board to learn about military ships of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars. It is home to the National PT Boat Museum, with PT Boats 617 and 796, the world's only restored pair of PT boats on public exhibition, and the destroyer USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., which houses the Admiral Arleigh Burke National Destroyer Museum (currently under renovation). Other exhibits include Women Protecting US, on women's military contributions, and a Cold War radar picket ship exhibit. General admission includes the separate Maritime Museum, which has shorter hours. Last admission onto the ships is 1½ hours before closing. Museums for All and Card to Culture discounts are offered.
