About this adventure
Roger Williams Park Zoo's nightly winter walk-through light show spreads larger-than-life illuminated displays across 40 acres of the zoo, with more than 3.5 million lights. The walk takes about 1 to 1.5 hours; paths are wheelchair accessible and strollers, wagons and wheelchairs are welcome (single and double strollers can be rented at the main entrance). The show runs rain or shine, including New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Tickets are sold online in advance only, with no refunds or rescheduling, and popular nights sell out. The zoo notes that full 2026-27 show details are still coming, so check the page before you go. Expect heavy traffic near I-95 exits 16 and 17 between 5 and 8 pm.
