About this adventure
A small-group behind-the-scenes morning at Roger Williams Park Zoo's Faces of the Rainforest. After a hot breakfast buffet, participants watch an animal training demonstration in the Education Center, then walk to the Rainforest to meet the keepers, go below the building with operations staff to see the pumps and pipes of the exhibit's life-support system, and finish in the free-flight aviary before it opens to the public. Capacity is 30 and pre-registration is required; all registrations are final. Children under 15 must come with a paid adult. Some behind-the-scenes areas involve inclines and uneven surfaces and may not be wheelchair accessible. Ticket includes breakfast, the program and zoo admission afterwards.
