About this adventure
Trinity Rep's annual staging of Dickens' A Christmas Carol reaches its 50th anniversary production this year, directed and choreographed by Taavon Gamble with original music by Richard Cumming. Scrooge is visited by Jacob Marley's ghost on Christmas Eve and taken through past, present and future in a version shaped by music and movement. Performances run most days from early November to New Year's Eve in the Dowling Theater. Family touches this season: Noche Familia on November 13, a family night celebrating the region's Latino community with pay-what-you-wish tickets (minimum $25 adults, $15 children) and a limited number of seats with Spanish live captioning; limited pay-what-you-wish seats for November 5 and 10; and a lobby show of winning artwork from Trinity's youth holiday art competition. A sensory-friendly performance is listed separately.
