About this adventure

The Westerly Band, which bills itself as America's oldest active community band at 174 years old, plays a holiday and patriotic afternoon concert at the historic Westerly Armory. The program mixes American favorites with seasonal music and is billed as a family event for young and old alike. At about an hour and a half on a Sunday afternoon, with children admitted free, it is an easy, low-cost way to introduce kids to live band music. Doors open at 1 PM and the concert begins at 2 PM; adults are asked for a donation at the door.
