About this adventure
The Stadium Theatre's in-house A Christmas Carol, named Rhode Island's best by Broadway World in 2022, 2023 and 2024, returns to Woonsocket for two December weekends. The Dickens story follows the bitter Ebenezer Scrooge as he is visited by the ghost of Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future, told with extravagant scenery, lavish costumes, dramatic lighting, fog and spirits. The theater labels it family friendly; the ghosts and fog can be a little intense for the very young, and children under two are not admitted. Weekend 2 PM matinees are the easiest choice for families with school-age children.
