About this adventure
A Halloween costume run for kids in downtown Providence, held before the Monster Dash 5K. The kids' dash is about a quarter mile for ages 12 and under, and parents may run alongside their children; the girls' race starts at 9:00 am and the boys' race right after. The top three boys and girls get awards, and there is a costume contest run through social media (post a photo and tag the organizer), so come dressed up. The 5K for grown-ups starts at 10:00 am and walkers are welcome; strollers must start at the back. Packet pickup opens at 8:30 am at the start/finish on South Water Street, and the post-race party is at Yellow Door Taqueria across the pedestrian bridge. Online registration closes the evening before.
