About this adventure
Blithewold stays open into the evening through the holiday season. Inside the manor the lights are dimmed so thousands of ornaments on dozens of decorated trees glow by candlelight, and outside the garden paths are lit by hundreds of handmade bamboo ornaments hung in the trees. On Friday and Saturday nights there are firepits for roasting s'mores (pre-order a $5 kit of four s'mores up to 24 hours ahead), hot cocoa and cider, and Santa may drop by. Open Tuesday to Sunday; last admission is 7 pm and the property closes at 8 pm. Registration is encouraged but walk-ins are welcome. Children 5 and under are free.
