About this adventure
A two-day career workshop for teens who dream of working with animals. Participants spend both days with Roger Williams Park Zoo professionals from education, animal care, veterinary medicine and operations, going front-of-house and behind the scenes to learn about exhibit design, animal health and training, and the range of jobs a zoo needs. Close animal contact is likely but touching animals is not guaranteed. Limited to 18 participants aged 13 to 17; boxed lunch provided each day, bring snacks and a water bottle. Drop-off and pick-up are at the Conservation Learning Center left of the main entrance (Lot A); late arrivals cannot be accommodated. No refunds unless the zoo cancels.
