About this adventure
Ahead of Diwali, children at Southeast Regional Library in Garner read about the festival of lights and make their own colorful sand art inspired by traditional rangoli designs. It is a free, 45-minute after-school session in the library's K-5th Adventures series of hands-on reading and crafts, aimed at kindergarten through 5th grade. Sand art is gloriously messy, so dress kids accordingly.
