About this adventure

Teen Science Cafés are free first-Friday evenings for teenagers at the Natural Sciences museum's Daily Planet Cafe. This month Dr. Liz Kierepka, head of the museum's Genomics and Microbiology Research Lab, talks about translocation — moving animals to new areas to rebuild populations — and how genetics and behavior studies guide moves of endangered black rhinos. Each café includes a presentation, a related activity, a Q&A and time to socialize with other teens. Recommended for ages 11–17; it is also streamed live on YouTube for teens who cannot attend in person.
