Sacramento Children's Museum in Rancho Cordova devotes Wednesday, November 25, 2026 — the day before Thanksgiving, when many local schools are out — to a themed day called Pop Into Health. Throughout the day, activities invite young visitors to explore what it means to be healthy and to look at different ways of keeping both bodies and minds healthy. The themed programming is sponsored by UC Davis and Dignity Health. No registration is required, and all activities are included with regular museum admission, so families can simply drop in during general admission hours (Tuesday–Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; members can enter from 9 a.m.). The museum is built for young children, and the Leo's Learning Lab space is hosting the traveling exhibit Turtle Travels through January 17, 2027, which can be combined with the visit. Note that the museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 26.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Page gives 'all day on November 25th' without a year; the program was published in October 2026 alongside the Nov 26 Thanksgiving closure post, and Nov 25, 2026 is a Wednesday. Times are the museum's general admission hours (Tue–Fri 10–3) from the events page, not printed for this program specifically.
