About this adventure
The Aerospace Museum of California at McClellan Park turns its outdoor Air Park into a Halloween playground for the day. Children collect candy at interactive trick-or-treat stations set up among the aircraft, make crafts such as necklaces, slime and candy-corn structures, and play cornhole with their families. For a little extra thrill there is a spooky walk-through of the Jolly Green Giant helicopter, plus seasonal treats and other festive activities. Costumes are encouraged. It runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., which suits families with young kids who want a daytime Halloween outing, and the indoor galleries of military jets and hands-on STEM exhibits are open the same day. The museum says its monthly events are included in general admission.
