A Saturday-morning breakfast with Santa held during Weihnachtsmarkt, the Sophienburg Museum & Archives' German-style Christmas market at the New Braunfels Civic and Convention Center. Children sit down to breakfast, make holiday arts and crafts and have their photo taken with Santa, while the market's vendors of German ornaments, decorations and gifts open around them. Each booking covers one seated child and one standing adult, and any additional adults need a regular market admission ticket, which also lets the family shop the market afterward. The breakfast lasts an hour and a half and is a fundraiser for the Sophienburg's museum operations and education programs.
