Maverick Branch Library's Little Scientist Workshop is a hands-on science hour for curious kids and their grown-ups, for families with children ages 4 and older. Each session has a theme and mixes simple experiments, crafts and discoveries: spiders on October 20, the fall season on November 3, dinosaurs on November 10 and turkeys on November 24. Sessions run 12:15–1:15 pm on Tuesdays with presenter Cari Raley. Families can come to one session or follow the series through the fall.
