A 90-minute woodburning workshop in The New Children's Museum's Artopia studio for youth ages 7–11. Inspired by Día de los Muertos traditions of remembrance, kids design a woodburned keepsake ornament honoring a memory, story or loved one. A parent or caregiver must stay on site (there is seating in Artopia and the café), and adults sign children in and out through the Union Street entrance. Workshop registration is separate from museum admission. A teen version (woodburned trinket boxes, ages 12–15) runs on November 8.
