About this adventure

During the first Christmas season at the new Gaylord Pacific Resort on the Chula Vista bayfront, Santa receives families in Santa's Workshop in North Star Village, the resort's holiday area. Children can share their wish lists, check that they are on the nice list and pose for a professional keepsake photo with him. Personal cameras and phones are not allowed at the set, so the photo comes from the resort's photo package, and every family or group buys one package, which can include several people in the picture. Visits are booked as time slots in the resort's online ticket calendar, so pick a slot in advance, especially for weekends near Christmas. The visit pairs easily with the resort's other ticketed holiday activities, such as the ice! attraction, gingerbread decorating and ice tubing, and a walk past the resort's light displays and towering Christmas trees.
