Coronado Public Library's twice-monthly Teens Create session on Wednesday, October 28, is a Día de los Muertos special: students in grades 6 to 12 decorate a sugar skull in honour of the Day of the Dead. Teens Create is the library's hands-on S.T.E.A.M. club for teens, held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 3:30 p.m., with a different build or craft each time; this session runs about an hour. The sugar skulls are provided while supplies last, so arrive on time for the best chance of getting one. The session is in person at the library on Orange Avenue in Coronado and the calendar lists no registration. It is a good drop-in for middle schoolers who want something creative to do after school ahead of the Día de los Muertos weekend.
