A Halloween-themed Family Concert by the San Diego Symphony Orchestra conducted by Kalena Bovell at Jacobs Music Center on Saturday, October 31 at 11:00 AM. The program includes Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain, Amy Beach's Bal Masque, the Overture to Die Fledermaus, Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5, P.D.Q. Bach's Minuet Militaire and Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite No. 1. Families are invited to arrive before the concert for crafts, costumes and trick-or-treat activities. Family Concerts are recommended for children ages 6-12; adults and children aged 2+ require a ticket, and attendees under 2 seated on an adult's lap are included with the adult ticket.
