During winter break, the Big Break Visitor Center at the Delta in Oakley hosts a family science session to close out the year. The projects are inspired by water and the region's rainy winter weather, so children can expect hands-on experiments about how water moves, collects and shapes the Delta landscape. The program is free, drop-in with no registration, and open to all ages; an adult must take part with their children. Meet at the Visitor Center at the start time.
