Museum of Glass

Contemporary glass museum on Tacoma's Thea Foss Waterway with a working Hot Shop amphitheater where visitors watch glassblowing, plus the Chihuly Bridge of Glass outside. Open Wednesday–Sunday 10am–5pm (last ticket 4:30pm); free admission every Third Thursday 5–8pm. Through December 2026 the traditional galleries are closed for a capital renovation, so admission prices are reduced; the Hot Shop, Education Studio, Store, Café and smaller Grand Hall exhibitions stay open. The Kids Design Glass program invites kids 12 and under to submit drawings that the Hot Shop team may turn into glass. Garage parking is limited during construction.
