About this adventure

Puyallup Main Street Association's Lighted Santa Parade comes through downtown Puyallup on the first Saturday in December, and the association has posted Saturday, December 5, 2026 as this year's date. The parade starts at 5:00 p.m.: the first unit crosses the starting line promptly at 5, the last unit should cross by 6, and each unit takes about 20 minutes to travel the route, which is centered on Meridian and Main Avenue downtown. Floats and trucks stage on Meridian between Stewart Ave and Main Avenue, so that stretch is very congested before the parade. Many units come over from the Sumner parade the same evening. Organizers ask entrants not to throw candy from vehicles so small children along the route stay safe; candy is handed out instead.
