About this adventure

Chesterfield's holiday spin on an egg hunt sends kids across Central Park looking for candy canes. Each age group gets its own hunting area and start time (the city posts the times on its website closer to the date), and the hunt simply ends when every candy cane has been found, so arrive early for your child's slot. Holiday characters are on hand, and a special holiday guest walks the field helping young hunters. Afterward families can stay for crafts and treats. It is a morning outdoor event in December, so dress kids for the weather and bring a bag for the haul. Registration costs less if you sign up before the day.
