Buder Library's annual daytime New Year's Eve party lets families ring in 2027 without staying up late. For children there is a read-aloud storytime, a face painter, New Year's crafts, a donut walk (the library hopes Donut Drive-In will supply the donuts) and a kid-friendly DJ. For the whole family there is a live band, mocktails and a New Year's resolution read-aloud, and everyone joins the countdown at noon. Musicians Rigby and DJ Tycoon are featured. The party runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the south St. Louis branch on Hampton Avenue, and no registration is required, so just turn up.
