About this adventure
Every Friday night the Astronomical Society of Eastern Missouri (ASEM) holds a free public star party at the Broemmelsiek Park astronomy viewing area, at the intersection of Schwede and Wilson Roads. Volunteers point their telescopes at highlights of the night sky. Viewing starts at dark or 7 pm, whichever is later, and runs for two hours. Rain cancels it, but a few clouds or cold do not; check the 'Latest News Flash' on ASEM's website before going. Large groups are asked to email Outreach@asemonline.org first so enough telescope operators are there.
