About this adventure

Highland's Gobble Hobble is a 2-mile run/walk on Thanksgiving morning that starts from the Korte Recreation Center. The City of Highland Parks & Recreation Department runs it as a family-friendly community tradition: some participants race for a personal best, while others walk the course with family and friends as a way to start the holiday. Sign-up is through the city's online registration page, which offers two options: race registration on its own, or race registration with a T-shirt. Part of the proceeds and sponsorship money goes to a grant sponsorship program that, over the past three years, has helped pay for an addition to a Highland park. The registration page does not print a start time, a minimum age or rules on strollers, so families planning to bring young walkers should check those details with the Parks & Recreation Department before race day.
