About this adventure
A Thanksgiving-morning 5K run/walk at the Family Arena in St. Charles, billed as family-friendly, followed by a free half-mile Kids Run at about 9:15 a.m. The race supports local food pantries (this year O.A.S.I.S. Food Pantry) and has donated more than $42,000 and 48,000 pounds of canned goods since 2014. 5K entry rises in steps from $25 early bird to $38 from November 21 through race day, plus processing fees; a virtual 5K is also offered.
