Ring One of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, the St. Louis chapter, stages an afternoon magic show at Florissant's James J. Eagan Center to mark the 250th birthday of the United States. Master magicians take the stage one after another with illusions, storytelling and patriotic set pieces, and the program pays tribute to veterans, active-duty military and first responders. The city bills it as an afternoon for magic fans and families. The show starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 17. Tickets are sold through the city's ThunderTix page at $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for children, which makes it an inexpensive way to take kids to a live magic show.
