St. Peters police officers invite families to help trim a holiday tree on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the St. Peters Justice Center. Children make their own ornament with materials supplied on site, then a friendly officer helps them hang it on the tree. The activity is recommended for kids ages 3 to 12, though all ages are welcome, and hot cocoa and cookies are served. No reservations are needed, so families can drop in any time during the evening. The city asks visitors to park in the mall parking lot across the street and use the crosswalk at Suemandy Drive and Grand Teton Drive. For questions, call 636-278-2244, ext. 3550.
