About this adventure

The Way of Lights is the Belleville shrine's long-running Christmas light display: families drive a route of lights that tells the story of Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem and ends at a life-size nativity; the display now also includes additional colored lights. Driving through is free. Families who park can add extras at a small charge, including camel and pony rides, kettle corn and funnel cakes, food and drinks, and a LEGO display. Inside the Visitors Center there is a Christmas tree display, a Kids' Christmas Corner, an Arctic exhibit, choirs, a gift shop, a food stand with hot dogs and nachos, wreath and tree voting, and a selfie spot with a Christmas backdrop. The display runs nightly from 5 to 9 p.m. from the Friday before Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve.
