About this adventure
A free 60-acre city farm in Hampton with about 100 domestic and wild animals: horses, cows, pigs, goats and chickens alongside birds of prey, alpacas, tortoises, peacocks and waterfowl. One animal-feed machine in the barn takes credit cards only, and when it's running you can also trade five pieces of litter for a bag of feed. The farm has an antique display barn, the Azalea Trail nature path with views of Newmarket Creek, the Hampton Master Gardeners' display garden and arboretum, a stage, and picnic areas with grills and a 100-person pavilion.
