About this adventure

On two Saturday nights in December the Chesapeake City Hall grounds become a walk-around holiday festival instead of a drive-through light show. Families park for free around the municipal center and wander an interactive outdoor wonderland with baby goats in holiday sweaters, carolers, face painting, holiday-themed food trucks, live ballerina performances on stage, roaming holiday characters, a glass man, a stilt walker and Santa. The city bills it as a free family outdoor event and tells visitors to bring a camera.
