About this adventure

A day-use park on the York River estuary, part of the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, where fresh and salt water meet. More than 40 miles of hiking, biking and bridle trails include ten multi-use trails and five mountain-bike-only trails. Croaker Landing has a boat launch and a 360-foot licensed fishing pier (no saltwater license needed), where catfish, spot, croaker and crabs are caught. Guided canoe trips on Taskinas Creek and kayak trips on the York River leave from the visitor center. There's no swimming area. Picnic shelters can be reserved.
