Cradleboards and Crawlers is a free drop-in program for early learners ages 0 to 2 and their caregivers in the imagiNATIONS Activity Center on Level 3 of the National Museum of the American Indian. Twice a week, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11 am, a museum educator reads a book by a Native author or illustrator, followed by free play, sensory enrichment and other hands-on learning. Space in the story room is limited to 25 people, and tickets may be needed to enter the Activity Center at busy times — check with staff at the Level 3 entrance desk.
