The National Museum of African American History and Culture holds NMAAHC Kids Book Days built around its new children's book, 123 I Like You and Me: A Joyful Counting Book, on Saturday, October 17 (10:30 am–12:45 pm) and Saturday, November 14, 2026 (10:30 am–12:30 pm). Designed for children ages 4 to 8, each session explores a few pages of the book together and celebrates the things that make us the same and different through art projects, games and hands-on activities on the museum's 4th Floor Overlook. Admission is free but registration or tickets are required; tickets for November 14 become available November 1.
