About this adventure

The Children's Museum of Atlanta's Growing Together workshops pair children ages 3 to 8 with their grown-ups for an hour of hands-on making. In Crafting Community, offered the week of Thanksgiving, families build and perform an interactive paper puppet show celebrating the everyday heroes who make neighborhoods vibrant and joyful, while little ones learn about the many roles people play in building a community. Sessions run 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The museum lists two dates, Sunday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 24 (the Tuesday session is listed under its In the Community category, so check where it takes place). A separate workshop ticket is required, so sign up in advance on the museum's website. Tuesday's session falls during the Thanksgiving school break, making it an easy morning outing for preschoolers and early elementary children.
