Thanksgiving Day – Día de Acción de Gracias at Plaza Fiesta

About this adventure

Plaza Fiesta on Buford Highway holds a bilingual Thanksgiving celebration on Sunday, November 22, from 2 to 4 p.m., the weekend before the holiday. The shopping center gives away gifts to visitors and fills the afternoon with music, entertainment, contests and prizes. It is a casual, drop-in community event: families can stop by while shopping, let children enter the contests, and stay for as much or as little as they like. The event is presented in English and Spanish, reflecting the center's role as a gathering place for metro Atlanta's Latino community, and the many restaurants and food vendors in the mall make it easy to turn the visit into a family lunch or snack outing. No ticket or registration is mentioned. The Plaza Fiesta office can be reached at (404) 982-9138 with questions.
