About this adventure

The Hedge House Museum on Plymouth's Water Street stages an immersive, dramatized retelling of Dickens's A Christmas Carol inside its decorated rooms. Instead of watching from theater seats, guests follow Scrooge through the house and witness his encounters with the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future in a Victorian Christmas setting, an annual tradition for the museum. Each performance lasts about 45 minutes, and performances fall in the early evening on the first two weekends of December; exact start times had not been announced yet. Because the show moves through the historic house, guests climb stairs and stand during the performance, which is worth keeping in mind with young children. Tickets are $35 per person, space is limited, and tickets must be bought in advance; sales to the general public open November 6.
