About this adventure
Hampstead Recreation's Thanksgiving-morning 5K walk/run starts and finishes at St. Anne's Church and loops east along Emerson Avenue, Randall Road, Sawyer and Wash Pond roads before returning to the church. Children aged 5 to 17 register at a reduced rate, which makes it an easy family tradition: older kids can race and younger ones can walk with a parent. Runners are asked to bring non-perishable food for the St. Anne's Food Bank. Registrations received by November 1 include a t-shirt; later sign-ups and race-day registration (7–8 am at the Hampstead Meeting House next to the start line, cash or check to Hampstead Recreation) do not. Online registration closes Wednesday, November 25 at 10 am.
