An owl prowl with a guaranteed owl: the evening at Blue Hills Trailside Museum in Milton starts in the auditorium with one of the museum's live owl ambassadors, where families learn what makes owls such successful night hunters. Then the group heads out on the sanctuary trails with field teacher Charlie Darmstadt to listen and look for wild Barred Owls, Great Horned Owls and others, which are especially vocal and active at this time of year. The walk is about 1 to 1.5 miles and may include rough terrain. Dress warmly. For families with children 5 to 17; children must be with a parent or guardian throughout. Enter the auditorium through the side door.
