A day-after-Thanksgiving family program at Habitat Education Center in Belmont about the animals at the top and bottom of the food chain. Children get up close with real skulls and other specimens from wild predators and their prey and discover the adaptations that make each one a skilled hunter or a clever survivor. The group then heads outside for active trail games that test camouflage, speed and alertness, showing how predator-prey relationships hold ecosystems together. Most of the program is outdoors, so dress for the weather and wear shoes for trail walking. For families with children 4 to 14.
