Burbank Ice Arena in Reading is a community rink that offers public skating all year long, mostly in weekday midday blocks plus a Sunday late-afternoon session, which suits families with preschoolers and homeschoolers as well as school-vacation outings. Admission is $6 for children and seniors and $8 for adults, and a 12-for-10 public skating pass is sold. Rental skates come in sizes from toddler 7 to adult 17 and are rented in the pro shop for $7 a pair. The arena takes cash, credit cards and Apple Pay.
