Sole City Dance brings its 21st-anniversary production of The Nutcracker to the historic Rochester Opera House in Rochester, New Hampshire. Set to Tchaikovsky's score, the ballet follows Clara on the night before Christmas as a mysterious gift sparks a journey with the Nutcracker Prince to the Land of Sweets, including the Sugar Plum Fairy and the snow scene, with colourful characters, scenery and costumes. The opera house bills it as a regional favourite for audiences of all ages and a good first ballet for children. Performances run December 3 to 6, 2026; the event page lists a 7pm curtain, with doors, bar and concessions opening 30 minutes before. General admission is $26 for students and seniors and $32 for adults, including fees. Tickets are sold online, at Stage Door Tickets and More (1 Wakefield St.) and at the historic box office two hours before each show.
