A December afternoon at Drumlin Farm about how animals survive the coldest season. Families gather for a reading of Twelve Days of Winter: A Wildlife Celebration by Sherri Maret, then meet one of the farm's rabbit wildlife ambassadors up close to see winter adaptations in action. To finish, kids use animal-track stamps to make their own winter track book to take home and use on future walks. The 90-minute program mixes indoor and outdoor time and is for families with children ages 4 to 10. Meet in front of the Nature Center; additional instructions are emailed a few days before.
